The church is the centerpiece to a Catholic campus with schools, retirement community, and church. This Gothic Revival style church was designed with a 1,200-seat worship space, a daily chapel, an adoration chapel. Sensitively inserted into the campus, the new worship building engages one’s arrival and provides an inviting first impression for church members and students.

Brief
• New worship building must extend off existing lobby/narthex space
• Building committee requested seating layout in worship space to be a hybrid of radius and traditional Latin cross
• Chapel to be accessible from church nave with a secure lobby with restroom for 24 hour adoration
• Sacristy to have direct access to church nave, chapel, reconciliation and main lobby but maintain security

Results
• Designed a 1,200-seat sanctuary with open cross plan, radius pews, and large sanctuary platform
• Addition of a chapel for 100, classrooms and office space
• Renovated existing worship space into dividable parish hall
