At St Joseph Catholic Church and School, a new master plan was developed that allowed for expansion on a site already completely built out. A new modern 2 story education wing was built after removal of an outdated 1 story building. A new wide corridor was added connecting the existing church with relocated parish hall and the new school wing. The church and school are now connected allowing students to go mass without going outside.

Brief
• Develop a master plan that would serve both church and school
• Repurpose buildings if possible remove if necessary
• Regulation size gym was needed
• Church needed a larger parish hall with full service kitchen
• Enhance worship experience in sanctuary
• Expand parking

Results
• Education building with modern classrooms, art studio, cafeteria with full service kitchen, and computer lab
• Secured playground
• New regulation size gymnasium
• Existing gym converted to Parish Hall with a full service kitchen
• Renovated worship and lobby space to improve worship experience
