Smith Boland Architects was commissioned to study the creation of a Catholic Retreat Center on 75 wooded acres in the mountains of north Georgia. The retreat center was programmed to include a lodge with large lobby, ballroom, meeting rooms and 70 guest rooms situated on a mountain lake overlooking a chapel capable of seating 150 people for weddings and other religious events.
