St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church bought a 47 acre site in Cobb County Georgia that used to be a farm. They hired Smith Boland to design a master plan that would accommodate their growing parish but also provide a phase 1 plan that would support their current needs. Their current and future needs required the phase 1 design to include a multi-purpose building, parking with areas for overflow, and site utilities to be sized to accommodate the future phases. The multi-purpose building was designed with a large lobby, gathering space, classrooms, meeting space and kitchen. The large lobby and gathering space allows this building to be used as a worship space now and after future phases become a parish hall. The future phases include a church at the campus entrance, an additional classroom wing attached to the multi-purpose building, a school building, and play fields.
