Master Planning and Programming

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church commissioned Smith Boland Architects to create a master plan that improved there campus based on their current and projected needs. Improvements to the site include a new entry drive, additional parking, centralized gathering courtyard, soccer field, columbarium, secure pre-school playground, stormwater detention systems. The church would get an addition to increase the worship seating, create a dedicated choir area, adoration chapel, bride’s room and expand the narthex. The current parish hall would be renovated into a youth center with coffee bar, warming kitchen, choir rehearsal, children’s nursery, classrooms and offices. A new two-story parish hall and education building were also planned to handle the projected needs of the school and parish.
