Master Planning, Programming, and Design Process
To meet the changing liturgical needs and growth of the community, St. Theresa Catholic Church will be relocating to a 26 acre pasture land just across the street from its present location. The Church must plan for a new campus that will support a 740 seat worship space. The site’s natural setting is perfect for a new gothic revival style church. The building will be placed near the center of the site, just above the lower grade of the main road. The bell tower is positioned on the corner of the church, providing a strong visual reference when approaching the campus. The Church is designed in a Latin cross form containing reconciliation rooms, side chapels, working sacristy and a large Sanctuary platform. An adoration chapel for 35 seats, administration, and a parish hall for 350 seats will be located on the main level next to the church. The Master Plan also includes an Amphitheater, Soccer Field, Memorial Garden, a future day chapel, future religious educational buildings, a future gymnasium and additional parking.
