Master Planning and Programming

St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church is located on 11.5 acres in Forsyth County Georgia. Built in 2000, the existing worship space seats 700 people. The church now has the need to expand to 1400 seats in worship due to population growth in the area. To balance the campus, the church Master Plan has been designed in six phases to meet the projected needs of the future.

Phase I
• New church entrance facade with bell tower and Narthex expansion
• Additions to the existing church will be in the Gothic Revival Style
• Enlarge entry drive into campus
• Add a large entry plaza for gathering at the entrance to the church
• Chapel for 50 people
• Meeting room for 50 people
• Columbarium
• New Ministry Center for outreach

Phase II
• New Parish Hall with full commercial kitchen
• Administration office area in the lower level of the new Parish Hall Building
• Relocate and enlarge the playground

Phase III
• Expand existing church to seat 1400 people based on the Latin Cross Plan
• Classroom expansion

Phase IV
• New Youth Center & Gymnasium
• Amphitheater

Phase V
• Columbarium expansion

Phase VI
• Educational building expansion
